During the ingestion process, if a book is discovered to be missing too much content due to rights restrictions, scanning errors, or anything that prevents a user from successfully using the book – JSTOR has the right to remove this title from sale if a suitable replacement is not available from the publisher. If a replacement is acquired at a later date, please work with support staff to get it re-sent and re-processed.
If a book is sent to JSTOR that is not suitable for an academic research platform (such as children’s books, self-help books, etc.) JSTOR has the right to remove it from sale after notifying the publisher.
